This
ERP software has powerful background database
manager. It is presented by three different database
managers
- Access, or as we call it Silver Package,
is the accounting software when it is using Microsoft
Access database manager.
- SQL Server, mostly called Gold Package
by us, is the accounting software when it is using SQL
Server database manager.
- Oracle, called Platinum Package by us,
is the accounting software when it is using Oracle
database manager.
Silver package (Microsoft Access Database manager)
Microsoft
Access, is a relational database management system from
Microsoft which combines the relational Microsoft Jet
Database Engine.
Silver package is perfect when you have a small office and
the number of computers which are supposed to use accounting
software is less than Five.
You have all the features of software when you select Silver
package and the difference by the other packages is only
using Microsoft Access Database manager.
Gold package (Microsoft SQL Server Database manager)
Microsoft
SQL Server is ideal for small, medium and large-size
business systems that need more performance, more
reliability, and more speed.
This package handle up to 25 computers, so use Gold Package
when you need more speed and performance and when the number
of your computers which are supposed to use accounting
software is less than 25.
Platinum package (Oracle Database manager)
In
Platinum package the Database manager is ORACLE.
Oracle Database is the flagship relational database
management system (RDBMS) software product released by
Oracle Corporation.
If you need maximum speed, maximum performance and
reliability the Database manager should be Oracle, It can
simply handle more than 500 computers which are using
Accounting software parallel.
If you are small or medium size you can select platinum
package also specially when you want the best of the best.
What is difference between Silver, Gold and Platinum
package exactly?
The ability and features of AFG Accounting in all
packages are the same and difference is only the database
manager.
So the difference is speed and ability to handle more
computers in network. |
